Wade Hoffpauir

Wade, the owner of Transplant Nursery, had a vision 20 years ago to build a different concept in the nursery business.  Looking forward to the future after retirement, he invested in purchasing of 20 acres of agricultural-zoned land.  He spent weekend after weekend, while teaching, clearing and envisioning a nursery.  That vision resulted in starting a nursery in 1983.

Wade is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with Bachelor of Science degree.  He received his Master’s from LSU in Game Management and Wildlife ecology.  Wade moved to Green Cove Springs, in 1969 where he taught biology and marine biology at Clay High School for 30 years prior to retirement in 1999 and now living his dream.

Debbie Gann

Debbie is the nursery’s manager and sales person.  In her “spare time” from teaching at Green Cove Springs Middle School Debbie assisted Wade in realizing his vision.  Now retired from the school system she is instrumental in keeping Transplant Nursery running on a daily basis.  Debbie is an invaluable asset to us with her knowledge of all aspects of the nursery business.  Her skill and expertise at propagation of plants and hands-on knowledge of growing the various plants that we have here is immeasurable.

Debbie is a graduate of West Chester State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education.  Debbie moved to Green Cove Springs in 1968 where she taught various Social Studies subjects at Clay High School and Green Cove Springs Middle School for 30 years prior to retirement in 1998.

Carol Harris

Carol sailed (literally) into Transplant Nursery seven years ago and is our resident “snowbird”.  She is a registered artist from Canada.  Carol is a people person, having never met a stranger.  She loves to deal with the public and as a result we have many happy return customers.

Carol taught art at a university in Nova Scotia and her artwork has been nationally recognized.  Her artistic talent has been invaluable to Transplant Nursery.  When you visit the nursery many of her art works are visible from paintings in the office to her sign designing and our “pot” people.

Trish Reynolds

Trish is the newest member to join the nursery.  Hired on to build Transplant Nursery’s website Trish has now moved away from the Green Cove Springs area but keeps our website up-to-date from afar.  Currently enrolled in the FFGC Landscape Design course she hopes to be certified January 2006.   Besides her talents as a Webmaster, computer geek and a fanatic gardener/wildlife hobbyist, Trish is also a Florida Master Gardener as well as the Vice President of the American Brugmansia and Datura Society.

Trish is a graduate of Eastern Wyoming College with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration.
